Basic Heavy Timber Log Packages Include:

  • Hand Hewn Exterior Log Walls
    (Including Assembly Hardware)
     

  • Second Floor Beam & Girder System (If Applicable)
     

  • Roof System (Including Common Rafters, Ridge, Collar Ties if Applicable)
     

  • Porch Structural Framing (Excluding Floor)
     

  • Single Story Designs do not use Heavy Timber Roof & Floor Components

Exterior Wall Logs Sizes Include:

  • 6x12

  • 6x14

  • 6x Natural

Second Floor & Roof System:

     Timber sizes are dictated by structural span
      tables and will vary according to design.


 

    

Options & Upgrades

Wall Logs may be upgraded to 8" thick. (Custom sizes also available by request).

Second Floor Timber sizes may be upgraded for aesthetics.

Roof System may have heavy timber trusses with mortise & Tendon joinery. (Maybe dictated by design.)

Optional Log Home Components:

  • Through bolt System

  • Roof & Wall insulation (Variable R-Values)

  • 1x6 & 2x6 Premium Decking

  • Perma-Chink Tm Products

3. Sealants
4. Preservatives

All Standard building materials may be purchased locally by owner or general contractor. These items are not provided and are not included with package pricing. These items include but are not limited to:

  • Doors & Windows

  • Plywood

  • Roofing Material
